CHRIS CHAMPAGNE
Chris came into our final event in 1st place and fought all the way through his last putt. With a well timed birdie on 18 to close out the championship, Chris was able to secure enough points to be crowned our 2025 Club Champ. Congrats Chris!

DJ GROFF
DJ is a familiar face atop the gross leader board at every event. Surgical from anywhere on the course, it's always fun watching DJ work. There were some real killers in the gross field this year and I'm stoked DJ won it all!

Paul found us early on this season and approached every event with thoughtfulness and personality. Through smiles and laughter you always feel at home with Paul in your group, no matter how the scores add up. Glad you found us Paul!

This season Chris stepped in for me on multiple occasions when life got in the way and I couldn't be at an event. He never hesitated or thought twice, every time I asked he was there to lend a hand. Without Chris this summer could have been possible!
About Southern Wake Golf Club
about us
In 2022 we began as a small group of amateur golfers exploring new courses every Wednesday. The following year we partnered with a local, well established and successful golf tour to host a Weekday Series of larger format events around central NC. Then in 2024 we went back out on our own holding 8 events throughout the area at various top rated public and private courses.
league format
All of our events are single day, individual stroke-play events with awards given to those atop the net & gross leaderboards.

While CTP ($5) and a skins game ($15) will be offered at all events, neither is mandatory.
